Sep 2023: Defense and Intelligence Implications of AI

First Friday Video Series

A Strong Defense for AI

Join the Cape Cod Tech Council as it kicks off its AI series on Friday, September 8, welcoming Hardy Dynamics CEO Kyle Hardy.

With experience leading artificial intelligence projects at the Department of Homeland Security, the US Army Asymmetric Warfare Group, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, Kyle’s talk will give a brief history of the Department of Defense’s past utilization of AI and where it will go in the future.

He will also show why AI’s current and potential uses in military defense operations matters, not only to our nation, but to Massachusetts and Cape Cod.

“While the Raytheons and Lockheed Martins are the big players in the space, there’s more interest from the Department of Defense in small mom-and-pop tech shops and smaller companies that are exploring ways to harness the technology in better and faster ways to support the department’s uses,” Hardy says.
