With municipalities facing declining revenue sources and tighter budgets, technology presents an opportunity to improve both efficiency and delivery of services to residents, a subject to be addressed by The Cape Cod Technology Council at its March 1 monthly First Friday breakfast.
Danya Mahota will be guest speaker at the breakfast, discussing technology’s role in improving public service while lowering costs and helping staffs manage with fewer resources. Danya is Business Development Director for Bonsai Logic, a Cape Cod-based software and consulting firm which provides and customizes programming to state and local governments to manage water services, track equipment and other assets, issue stickers and licenses, and perform other services, often online. Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Bourne, Mashpee, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet are among Cape Cod towns using its software and services.
Danya is a graduate of McGill University and has been with Bonsai Logic since 2007. Previously he was a sales consultant and district sales manager for Home Depot.
