The Infrastructure Committee meets at 9 AM on the third Wednesday of every month (allowing for holidays) at the Innovation Room, OpenCape Building in the Barnstable County Complex. The meeting is open to anyone who wishes to attend and covers a range of important infrastructure and public policy issues for the Cape Cod region, including telecommunications, internet access, transportation, and power technologies. The infrastructure committee acts as a forum for the incubation of ideas and as a pathway to gaining support and advocacy of the Cape Cod Technology Council board of directors for vital technological infrastructure initiatives.
Nate Mayo will provide an update on Vineyard Wind.
To follow-up on our last meeting, the Technology Council Board approved sending a letter to Congressmen Richard Neal supporting replacement of the bridges (see link) and a statement supporting the Future Cape Cod proposal.
