On April 25, 2013 the Cape Cod Technology Council held the 2013 Annual Meeting and dinner at the newly-renovated DoubleTree Inn in Hyannis. The group enjoyed cocktails to the music of the Bert Jackson Quartet, then proceeded to a well-prepared buffet dinner (thanks to Director Janel Kesten for all the hard work at making those choices!). Following dinner, CCTC General Counsel Eugene Curry conducted the Annual Meeting portion of evening, and the members voted to amend the By-Laws and elected a slate of Directors for the upcoming year.

Gene then yielded the floor to new Director Dr. Robert Cody, Dean of Science, Technology, Math, and Business at the Cape Cod Community College, who introduced the speaker for the evening, Dr. John Cox, President of the Cape Cod Community College. Dr. Cox walked us through lessons learned from a recent trip to Russia with other community college colleagues, the impact of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), and plans for the college going forward.
