SNEEF: Leadership in the Family Business: Turning Core Values into Best Family Business Practices for Success

“Leadership in the Family Business: Turning Core Values into Best Family Business Practices for Success” will be featured at the Southern New England Entrepreneurs Forum (SNEEF) on Thursday, May 8, 5:30 p.m., Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center, 151 Martine Street, Fall River.

Co-sponsored by the Family Business Association, the program will focus on the importance of family core values in the operation and mission of a family business.  Two family-owned businesses will be featured:

Michael Tavares, Horacio’s Welding and Sheet Metal, Inc., New Bedford
Valerie Bono, Golden Cannoli Shells, Inc., Chelsea

Thomas D. Davidow, EdD, Thomas D. Davidow & Associates, and Cynthia Adams Harrison, EdD, LICSW, Adams Harrison Performance Consulting, will draw on years of family business consulting practice and performance interventions in business and sport to present a thoughtful, energetic and interactive evening.  They will review how the leadership within the family business can best utilize their core values in all aspects of the business, from supervisory practices to exceeding customer expectations.

The Family Business Association is the leading independent, non-profit organization serving family business enterprises. Dedicated to the continuing success of the family-owned firm, the FBA offers educational programs and a platform for family businesses to share their knowledge, experience, and expertise while navigating the inherent challenges that are unique to family-owned companies.

A light supper will be provided, with a cannoli dessert.  The event is free, but registration is requested at www.SNEEF.org.
