Managing Health Care through Technology is topic of Cape Cod Technology Council’s February, 2015 First Friday Breakfast
Kathleen Hernon, the Operations Readiness Director for Partners HealthCare at Home, will discuss the application of technology to improve health care management, covering such areas as tele-medicine, the smart phone’s role in health care, and related topics at the February First Friday breakfast of the Cape Cod Technology Council. The breakfast, open to the public, will be held on Friday, February 6 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Hyannis Golf Club on Route 132, Hyannis.
Kathleen is a Registered Nurse for more than 30 years with a primary focus in home health care. At Partners Health System she has held a variety of positions including direct patient care, staff educator, quality and compliance specialist, regional director, and has worked as an informatics nurse. Currently as Operational Readiness Director for Partners HealthCare at Home she is responsible for the implementation of the Partners eCare electronic health record.
The CCTC event includes networking and a hot breakfast followed by the presentation and questions and answers. The advance purchase charge for members in $15, while there is a $20 charge for non-members. After noon on the prior Wednesday to the event, the fees increase by $5.
