We are delighted to welcome Tech Council member, ophthalmologist, retired US Air Force colonel, and public health expert Dr. Jane Ward for a discussion about the latest thoughts on public health both in general and as urgently impacted by the current pandemic. Jane’s interests and studies lie at the intersection of lifestyle medicine, health of populations, and health and the built environment. During this pandemic indoor and outdoor air quality are of urgent importance. She will address aspects of human health often overlooked by, or considered outside the purview of, conventional medicine, and will talk about related technologies being deployed and developed, with particular emphasis on indoor air quality improvement strategies for individuals, homeowners and small business owners.
