April 2022 EarthTech Q&A: Making the Case for Solar Panels

April 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Making the case for solar panels

It is estimated that one hour of sunlight is equivalent to one year’s worth of energy needed for our planet. Solar energy technology has a dynamic role in today’s clean energy economy.

On Friday, April 15, at 10am join the Cape Cod Technology Council for a Coffee Q&A with Andrew Wade, president of My Generation Energy, when we will examine the current landscape in the solar industry. Wade will discuss the benefits of commercial solar, residential solar and battery storage solutions.

A native Cape Codder, Wade grew up in Eastham and graduated from Nauset Regional High School. He attended Clemson University in South Carolina where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. In 2009, he returned to Cape Cod and joined the team at My Generation Energy, becoming president and CEO in 2014. Under his leadership, My Generation Energy has grown into a regional leader in the solar industry, and has provided Wade with a platform where he can combine his passion for the environment with his background in business.
